    The Revelation

    of ST. JOHN THE DIVINE

    1THE Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him , to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent a signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

    2Who bare record of the word of God, and of his testimony to Jesus Christ, and of all the things that he saw.

    3Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

    4JOHN to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be onto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

    5And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithfull witness, and the first begotten of death, and the Prince of kings of earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed from us our sins in his own blood,

    6And has made us kings and priests unto God and his father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

    7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

          I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

    8I John, who also am your brother, and Companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patienceof Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

    10Iwas in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet.

    11Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book,  and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Eph-e-sus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Per-ga-mos, and unto Smyrna, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laod-i-ce-a.

    12And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candelsticks;

    13And in the midst of the seven candelsticks one like unto the son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and grit about the paps with a golden gridel.

    14His head and his hairs where like wool, as of white snow; and his eyes where as a flame of fire;

    15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burn in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

    16And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strenght.

    17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

     18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death.

    19Write the things which thou has seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

    20The mystery of the seven  stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candelsticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven golden candelsticks which thou sawest are the seven chruches.

  • Hey cool site!I am thrilled that I was able to find another Christian out there.It would be cool if we could correspond back and forth.I will really need someone to keep me accountable on the point of keeping strong in the Christian walk.The reason is that I am going into the Navy,and I bet that you have a pretty good idea of what spiritual moral is like in the Navy.Hope to hear from you soon.

  • Oh that last post was from navyblueboy.

  • I studied the book of Revolation when I was in the 6th or 7th grade. I turned in my report, and I had to present it. I freaked the whole class out, I found that it actually informed many individuals. But what is more suprising, is that this was in a public school and they let me present a religious essay. Anyways, greak job getting this out to other people - it is a serious matter that everyone should be aware of. God bless ~Melissa

  • Thank you for your comments. They are much appreciated. I will make more of an effort to return comments in a timely fashion.

  • Awesome entry!

  • there is no god, and ive proven it hahahahhahaha

    Odiousmanilla: and i have the perfect theory, nay, proof that god doesnt exist
    Odiousmanilla: wanna hear my proof
    Odiousmanilla: i just formulated it today
    EvoSci: Sure
    Odiousmanilla: and its perfect
    Odiousmanilla: ok
    Odiousmanilla: We must first assume that were talking to a Christian
    Odiousmanilla: In the Christian religion, god is an intellectual being that created us, and is all powerful, and all knowing.
    Odiousmanilla: and if god has laid out everything by the mere fact of knowing it all,
    Odiousmanilla: then we must assume that there is a finite amount of information known possible
    Odiousmanilla: in the IQ test
    Odiousmanilla: its your knowledge age divided by your physical age
    Odiousmanilla: his knowledge age, being finite
    Odiousmanilla: divided by his physical age, being infinite
    Odiousmanilla: gives you an IQ of 0
    EvoSci: Nice
    Odiousmanilla: haha
    EvoSci: I agree

    now, with the fact that the part of the christian religion is based on the fact that they were made by an all knowing, intelligent being, but this debunks the entire thing, so God doesnt exist. hahahahahahahahaha
